Drs. Li Wu and Hai Qi Selected in China's Most Cited Researchers

Elsevier recently released the list of "Most Cited Chinese Researchers", and Drs. Li Wu and Hai Qi of the Institute for Immunology of Tsinghua University have earned the distinctions.

 

Dr. Li Wu has long been committed to the study of immunology and made a number of distinguished discoveries in immune cell development and differentiation, especially in biology of dendritic cells, one of the most important cell types in immune response. A former professor in Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Australia, Dr. Wu is now the vice dean of School of Medicine and associate director of Institute for immunology of Tsinghua University.

 

Dr. Hai Qi has been focused his research on exploring the regulation mechanism of humoral immune response, especially the relationship between immune cell interactions, adhesion, migration and germinal center formation. Dr. Qi is currently the vice dean of School of Medicine and associate director of the Institute for Immunology of Tsinghua University.

 

Developed in collaboration with ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, the list of "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" recognizes the influential minds in the fields of science and social sciences in China. Among 1,744 researchers in China across 38 different subject areas, there are 109 from Tsinghua University and 87 from Peking University, seizing the top two positions among the universities and institutions.
